- 400 gram rum steak
- 600 ml water
- 1 turmeric leaf
- 1 stalk lemon grass
- 4 kaffir lime leaves
- 1 piece dried sour fruit (Graciana cambogia)
- Enough skewer
- 1-2 tablespoon oil
- Enough rice flour (about 50 grams)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Fried shallots, for garnishing
- 6 Red Chillies
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin, roasted
- 3 large shallots
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 2 tablespoon coriander, roasted
- 1 teaspoon chopped galangal
- Boil 400g rum steak until half cooked than add the kaffir lemon leaves,lemon grass,ground spices,turmeric leaf and Graciana cambogia.
- Boil until the rum steak is tender.Drain well the meat and cubed with knife.
- Prick the meat onto skewers,spread oil and roast with charcoal until it cooked.
- Mixed well rice flour and cornstarch,give little water to thicken the remaining marinade.
- Give hot sauce over the satay,sprinkle with spring onion and fried shallots or celery.You can eat with rice.
