Chicken Biryani

Ingredients :

  • 4 chicken thighs each cut into 2 pieces
  • Yogurt
  • 1 tbs masala
  • 1 tbs garlic ginger paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbs vinegar
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • leaves Bay
  • 2 cardamom
  • 3 Cloves
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • Spring onion and Parsely for garnish
  • 1 cup basmati rice rinsed and soaked for 20 minutes
  • Stock or water
  • 4 tbs sunflower oil
  • cubes Potato

Steps :

  1. Mix chili powder,masala,garlic ginger paste,turmeric,cinnamon,lemon juice,paprika,salt,vinegar and pepper.Mix it for 30minutes,make to yogurt texture.Then pickle the chicken to the batter.
  2. Heat oil in the large pot,then add cinnamon,masala,cardamom,bayleaves and cloves.
  3. Fry the chicken on high heat until golden colour,then add all yogurt.Stir until half done for 15minutes,reduce to low heat and add the potatoes,stir it until soft.
  4. Add the rice with number 2,add the water to boil.Cook it until well done.
  5. Serve the rice to the serving platter and the chicken on the top,add Riata,spring onion and parsley for garnish.Enjoy it!
